Petalage is a floral design studio rooted in modern artistry and intentional design. We’re based out of a home studio in Yarmouth, Maine, where we create art-forward florals for weddings and events, balancing structure with organic movement always with a nod to whimsy, romance and playfulness.

Inspired by texture, seasonality, and thoughtful composition, our work is designed to transform spaces and shape atmosphere. Each project is approached as a creative collaboration, resulting in floral moments that feel immersive, expressive, and deeply personal.

Michelle is a lifelong creative with a deep-rooted passion for design. After seven years in commercial property management, I made the decision to leave my corporate career and pursue floral artistry full time — transforming a long-held creative calling into a thriving, full-service floral design studio.

Based in Yarmouth, Maine, where I live with my husband and our young son, I’ve built Petalage around the belief that design should feel intentional, expressive, and deeply personal. Flowers became my medium — a way to channel imagination, cultivate meaningful client relationships, and bring beauty into life’s most significant moments.

My clients are at the heart of everything I do. I value collaboration and connection, approaching each project as a creative partnership. My priority is to deliver distinctive, artful designs while providing an elevated and seamless experience from concept to installation.
